User Agreement

Thank you for using the Swiss Quality UK platform, a company registered in the UK under the name of Swiss British Exchange Limited, with an address at 39 Dibden Street, 8 Novello Court 39 Dibden Street, 8 Novello Court, London, United Kingdom, N1 8RH. When using our products and services, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. Please take the time to read through the User Agreement below. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, and continued use of the site and service constitutes acceptance of all updated terms. Whenever there is a change to any term, there will be a notice of that change on the top of these terms for a period of 30 days prior to becoming regularly incorporated, and throughout that time continued use of the site will constitute your full and final acceptance of all terms.

1. Purpose

Swiss Quality UK is providing an online directory of Swiss-owned or co-owned Swiss businesses within the UK which offer their products and services. This platform enables different companies providing Swiss Quality services and products to people and other interested parties based within the UK.

2. Scope and Intent

By registering with Swiss Quality UK you agree to our Privacy Policy. By creating an account you acknowledge you have read and understood the terms and conditions and you agree to be bound by all of its provisions. By creating an account you also consent to use electronic signatures and acknowledge your click of the “Join Now” button as one. Please note that the Swiss Quality UK ‘User Agreement’ and ‘Privacy Policy’ is collectively referred to as ‘Terms and Conditions’.

3. Contractual obligations

3.1 Applicable laws and these agreements

The company has to be affiliated with Switzerland e.g. Swiss proprietor, employees or/and Swiss education (Apprenticeship and/or Swiss university)
It is forbidden to open a false identity account on SQUK
The real companies name has to be provided
The services have to be used in a professional manner
Information provided has to be accurate and updated if necessary
As a member, you have to comply with all applicable laws including, without limitation, privacy laws, intellectual property laws, export control laws, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
Opening an account has to comply with our Privacy Policy
It is forbidden to act dishonestly or unprofessionally by engaging, posting and publishing unprofessional, inappropriate, inaccurate, or objectionable content on SQUK
A profile should solely be for a company and NOT for a private individual
To abuse, harass or harm other businesses is not allowed, this includes sending unwelcomed communication to others
The photo upload should not be a personal picture, but the company’s logo or pictures of projects
By filling out the content fields, uses the correct data for the correct field e.g. do not put the phone number into the address etc.
Do not offend upon copyrights or other proprietary rights, trade secrets, patents or trademarks
SQUK is an independent platform
It is not allowed to upload or post anything containing worms, software viruses, or any other computer code files or programs which can cause interruption, destruction or limit the functionality of any hard- and software of SQUK or any user of SQUK
Religious groups, escort companies, brothels and companies with a pyramid scheme are not allowed to open an account with SQUK
It is not allowed to use data, content and/or information found on the SQUK site to use for a concurrence company as well to sell, license, publish and/or distribute if not approved by the company
Transgressor use SQUK’s brand, logo, trademarks, including, without limitation, using the word ‘Swiss Quality UK’ or ‘SQUK’ in any business name, e-mail, URL or including SQUL’s trademarks and logos except as provided in the Brand Guidelines or as expressly permitted by SQUK
SQUK accessibility via automated or manual means or processes to monitor the availability, performance or functionality for any competitive purpose are forbidden to be used

3.2 License and warranty for your submission to Swiss Quality UK

The information you provide to SQUK under this agreement is your property and you can request it’s a cancellation at any time. Any submitted information is at your own risk and by providing these to SQUK you represent and warrant that you are entitled to submit the information and that all given details are accurate, not confidential, and not in violation of any contractual restrictions or other third party rights.

3.3 Membership

The created profile is owned by SQUK, except the information provided
After creating an account, an SQUK team member will contact you within 30 days
Your age is 18 years and older
The password has to be kept confidential and secure
Other businesses are not entitled to use the same account as you do
Do not use another account than yours
You are responsible for all the information provided to SQUK and will make sure these pieces of information are always up to date
You will be allowed to use our Logo on your web site to show your membership
Membership fees have to be paid fully by 31st January of each year by bank transfer
If the Membership fee is not paid by end of February, the account will be closed down
If you decide to leave SQUK before end of the year, the rest amount will not be refunded

Payment tiers will be broken down as follows:

£100 / year for small companies and startups
£300 / year for companies that have more than 1 employee
£500 / year for larger organisations and a turnover of more than £100'000 / year

Payments will be due on the 31st January each year, and annual invoicing will follow on the date of signup.

3.4 Indemnity against liability

SQUK is not responsible for any damages, losses or costs caused by one of its members. Therefore hereby you agree to assume liability for anything caused by your failure to fulfil this agreement, including, without limitation of submitted content that violates third parties rights or applicable law.

3.5 Notification; e-mails, text messages and newsletter

SQUK will place an information box on the first site of the web site to ensure any important changes to information’s, messages and rules will be published. By providing your e-mail address and mobile phone numbers, you will ensure SQUK can contact you in case of issues related to your account.

A newsletter will be published every quarter to inform all the existing customers about any changes, new members and other important news.

3.6 Privacy

You agree with us to collect, use, store, and disclose information about you in keeping with our Privacy Policy

4. Your rights

We grant you the right, to publish the services of your company on SQUK provided that all the information about your company or the company you are working for are correct and the services are accomplished in the quality we expect. The membership can be cancelled at any time and it will take maximum 30 days to take your companies to name of the list.

Any use, contradict to our ‚terms and condition‘, is strictly prohibited and a violation of this agreement. SQUK reserves all rights not expressly granted in this agreement, including, without limitation, title, ownership, intellectual property rights, and all other right and interest in SQUK and all related items, including any and all copies made of the SQUK website.

Members have the right to cancel at any point and the service will roll over annually in lieu of any cancellation.

5. Our rights and obligations

Except for days, where we make modifications on the web site, you will have access to your account 24/7
SQUK reserves the right to withhold, remove or discard any content available with or without notice if deemed by SQUK to be contrary to this agreement
SQUK has no obligation to store, maintain or provide you with a copy of any content that you or other Members provide when using the services.
All our members can provide their web sites on SQUK, but SQUK is not responsible for any content or issues (e.g. viruses, worms etc.) on these web sites. Therefore SQUK is not responsible for anything on other sites apart of SQUK web site.
You agree that we may access, preserve, and disclose your registration and any information provided in accordance with the terms of the Privacy Policy if required to do so by law
Intellectual Property Notices includes the copyrights and intellectual property of SQUK. SQUK brand name and logo are the property of SQUK and are not allowed to be used without permission
SQUK has the right to use your updated information and pictures to promote SQUK

6. Disclaimer

We provide the platform for all our members, information and services. For any issues, you cannot make us responsible. Nonetheless, we would like to ask you to inform us about all the issues you face while dealing with one of our business members.

7. Termination

The agreement can be ended by either party at any time, for any or no reason. This notice will be effective not later than 30 days after receiving your mail or letter. SQUK may terminate this Agreement and your account for any or no reason at any time.
SQUK will restrict, suspend or terminate the account of any member who abuses or misuses the services. Misuse of the services includes creating false business accounts, infringe any intellectual property rights, violating any other points in Terms and Conditions

8. General Terms

The language we use is only English for the time being
You agree that this agreement ‘Terms and Conditions’ constitutes the entire, complete and exclusive agreement between you and Swiss Quality UK.
You may also be subject to additional terms and conditions when using the services of other members on this site
We reserve the right to modify, supplement or replace the terms and conditions of this agreement and inform you about any changes made on our web site
You are not allowed to use any of SQUK advertising or other materials issued in connection therewith, except this was agreed before.
SQUK is an independent corporation and is not working nor a participant of a 3rd party

Our members are very important to us, therefore we gather and respect your business information. Your personal information is protected and will only be provided to third parties with your consent, where it is necessary to carry out your instructions.

Collected Information

To register with Swiss Quality UK, you must provide us with at least the companies name, address, phone number, e-mail, a contact person: name, phone number, e-mail address. We will also need a logo and/or picture (good quality!). By creating an account with SQUK you understand that others can see the business details and what your business offers.

We will use IP addresses for statistical purposes only. All searches can be made for businesses one is in need of.
